this song is so wonderfully relaxing. vain star is definitely my favorite song of yours, but this is a close second. the title is perfect, without even knowing the name, the first thing i would think would be icicles. the tempo is really nice, relaxing, but enough energy to keep your interest. i see this song as having 3 main voices: 0:21-0:25, 1:21-1:35, and i count the bass as a voice, because its not only insanely awesome, but even carriers the main melody at times like 2:05-2:19. you have three main themes, but always with some kind of wintry sound in the background be it the strings, or i dont even know what that is in 2:05-2:34 =/ this song is very complex, yet it is still easy to listen to and enjoy, i get more out of it every time i listen to it. the voices compliment each other so well, that it seems perfectly natural and not at all forced to have two main themes at the same time. one of my favorite parts is 2:34-2:48. you have the bass and the beginning theme going on at the same time, with two supporting melodies. the ending might have been better, but having things slow down to the sound of the wind works pretty well for this song i think. this song is easily one of my top ten favorite in the portal, 5/5 and 10/10 :D

this one of the best songs ive heard in a while. the main theme is short and sweet. the song is the perfect length for developing the melody, long but not too drawn out. good bass. i like the ending, the huge dramatic buildup, then its just the main melody. simple yet powerful. 5/5 10/10 this song deserves it

this is probably my favorite song in the portal, had some tough competition with "break fairy" and "atmospheric entry" and some others. your timing is practically down to a science. 23-27, 1:05-1:08, 2:10-2:24, and 2:34-2:37 to mention a few, lead up to something, but you dont know what, it keeps you guessing for a few seconds, then adds a new twist, or an additional voice. favorite part is most definitely 2:24-2:30, what follows is pure bliss. this song has a good pace, not too fast. but theres an energy that keeps it interesting. 5/5 and favorited.

i actually expected it to be a lot better. it lacked the usual energy. kinda like opening a box of raisenettes and finding that someone sucked all the chocolate and spit the raisins back in...... minus the gross part. still ok, 3/5

i love this song! its so hilarious! it cracks me up! its almost as funny as friction! i really like the part with the chickens squawking. but ignore my nonsensical babbling; i've drunk enough mountain dew that if i walked outside my house, id get arrested by cops for taking drugs. so don't do drugs kids, or you'll end up even weirder than me, and heaven knows no one wants that. wow... this review is weird, but a weird song deserves a weird review, right? so please ignore this review if it makes no more sense than a barrel full of drunk monkeys smoking pot, and move on with your lives. great song, 5/5 10/10! "arrgh mateys! i think i've got an chicken!"

I LOVE THIS SONG! it is so completely awesome. i thank you for composing this, and i thank you sincerely from the bottom of my heart for helping me discover my love of zelda music. 5/5 10/10, overall, this song ROCKS! my favorite part of the song is 16-20 sec. when it starts to pick up. that part is so awesome, it kinda reminds me of a part in the ice dance from edward scissorhads, when the choir is singing, and big coincidence, i love that song too!
